Kara Hulkes is Financial Controller at Valda Energy, leading the day-to-day management of both Financial Operations and Financial Reporting. Kara is an ACA qualified professional with a background in audit. She has experience across a wide range of industries and has worked in a variety of finance roles. She is a proven leader and manager with a “can do” approach, always keen to solve complex problems, with a focus on delivering results. Kara is motivated by team development and enjoys working with her team to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Outside of work, when not running around after her three children, you’ll find her in the gym or walking her greyhound.
