Developing people has been my passion for the last 20 years. In L&D we are lucky enough to help shape, empower and increase the skills of others around us. Since joining Valda Energy back at the beginning of 2023, I have received amazing support from our senior leadership team to provide training on topics, which go beyond the standard scope of business learning. This allows us to deliver courses on subjects like neurodiversity. One standout area for me is having the privilege to oversee our apprenticeship programme, which has added great value to the business.

This time is all about settling in, connecting with your team, and identifying the development opportunities that will help you thrive. We have several business areas, which benefit from external qualifications; including Customer Service, Collections, Regulations, Accounting, IT, Project Management and HR.
