Zoe Mortimer is Head of HR at Valda Energy As the first HR professional to join Valda, her mission has been to establish the HR department and implement a forward-looking people strategy that fosters an engaged and high-performing workforce. Valda Energy is incredibly proud of its culture, and Zoe is committed to preserving it as the company continues to grow and expand its team.

Zoe has a deep passion for apprenticeships and other development initiatives, having started her own career as an apprentice at the age of 16. She knows firsthand how a supportive workplace can drive motivation and job satisfaction.

Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors as much as possible, especially to tire out her energetic dog who never seems to have an off switch.
