This is an exciting opportunity to join Valda Energy as a Business Development Manager, playing a pivotal role in strengthening our presence within the UK Corporate energy market. The role is centred on building, developing and managing strategic relationships with Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), who are a critical route to market and key enablers of sustainable growth.
As a trusted partner to both TPIs and internal stakeholders, you will focus on creating long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that position Valda Energy as the supplier of choice within the Corporate sector. Through proactive engagement, market insight and a customer-centric approach, you will identify opportunities for growth, support complex tender opportunities, and drive exceptional partner experiences. The day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Corporate TPIs, becoming a trusted advisor and key point of contact
Identify and onboard new Corporate TPI partnerships that complement Valda Energy's growth ambitions and cultural values
Work closely with TPIs to understand customer needs, business objectives, and future opportunities, ensuring Valda is well-positioned to support them
Support Corporate tender opportunities, including multi-site portfolios and bespoke contracts, collaborating with the Corporate team to deliver competitive and commercially balanced solutions
Act as the primary link between TPIs and the internal Corporate team, ensuring a seamless experience
Proactively manage and resolve partner issues, maintaining strong accountability and ensuring positive outcomes that strengthen long-term relationships
Provide regular market intelligence and feedback, sharing insights on customer needs, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to support continuous improvement
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and relationship plans to support effective business planning and growth
This position involves regular travel, including at least one day per week in our Bicester office, alongside UK-wide travel as required to engage with TPIs, strengthen partnerships, and develop strategic opportunities.

Ability to engage, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders up to Director level
