How you will Energise Our Team 🤝
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the team to ensure the development and processing of key financial models, as well as provide valuable insight and support on commercial performance to the wider business. The role requires a diligent and analytically minded individual with a keen attention to detail to carry out core, business-critical tasks covering a variety of areas. The modelling responsibilities will be a mixture of regular tasks and ad-hoc analysis, enabling a great deal of exposure to several of the company’s operational and strategic functions
The day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support business decision-making
- Preparing and delivering regular financial reports and analysis, including performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs
- Preparing management information, insights, and reporting to the senior leadership team, highlighting emerging issues and potential future challenges to drive commercial performance
- Assisting with the development of various strategic and commercial initiatives whilst building business case proposals
The Spark we're Looking For 🔍
- At least two years’ experience in an analytical role
- Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts for data analysis
- Ability to interrogate and manipulate data sets to provide meaningful insight and drive decision-making
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
