The role. 🤝
We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. As a marketing coordinator, reporting into the Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team's efforts to execute various marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will be responsible for the curation of internal and external content, managing projects, and assisting in the development of a wide range of marketing materials.
To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding copy writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of marketing best practices, and some hands-on experience working across various marketing tools and platforms.
In addition, you will champion any internal marketing requirements, where your own ideas are actively encouraged. You will be responsible for generating and distributing internal communications such as company newsletters and standalone email campaigns.
How you will contribute. ✅
- Craft compelling content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, blog posts and press releases, ensuring our messaging resonates effectively across our various platforms
- Assist the Marketing Communications Manager in developing and implementing a content strategy, designed to meet company objectives and bolster brand reputation
- Help manage and maintain our social media presence by creating content, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages
- Drafting, editing and supporting internal communications to update staff on the company’s strategy, activities and plans, building trust and confidence internally
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and provide suggestions for improvement
What we are looking for. 🔍
To thrive in this role, you should have a good understanding of marketing communication and branding concepts and best practices, as well as hands-on experience with various general marketing tools and platforms. You should also be creative, analytical, and results-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for:
- At least 1 year experience in a communications or marketing role (desirable)
- A degree in Marketing/Business/English related subject (desirable)
- Confident across Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Onedrive), social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook) and other software's (Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suites)
- Effective copy writing skills; taking ideas from concept through to creation and publishing across various internal and external platforms
- Outstanding written, communication and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail with accurate spelling and grammar
